Refund policy

The following are the reasons we are given for returns.
  1. DAMAGED IN TRANSIT

This must be reported in writing to Head Office within 48 hours of receipt of order.    THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.    The onus is on the distributor to check that goods are received in good condition – they cannot claim breakages in transit months after they have received their order.

  1. FAULTY/DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS

Spazio products carry a guarantee/warranty. Depending on the product (this can be confirmed per product) from date of purchase/invoice. Goods found to be faulty MUST be returned to Head Office for inspection.   These products will be repaired, if possible, and if goods cannot be repaired, a replacement will be sent to the distributor.

Replacements will not be sent to the distributor until we have received the faulty product for inspection.

  1. INCORRECTLY SUPPLIED

In the event of an order being incorrectly captured by Spazio, or if incorrect goods were packed by the warehouse, these goods can be returned at no cost to the distributor.

  1. CANCELLED ORDERS

Orders already placed by distributors that require to be cancelled must be done so IN WRITING.    Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.     If goods are already in transit, orders cannot be cancelled.

  1. ORDERS INCORRECTLY ORDERED/NO LONGER REQUIRED.

Distributors have 15 days from date of invoice to return these goods.   Distributors will be liable for a 10 % handling fee to cover administration costs that have been incurred by Spazio.   This is ample time for a distributor to realize that the goods he ordered were not suitable.

Please be aware:
The provision of goods and services by Spazio is subject to availability. In case of unavailability, Spazio will refund the client in full within 30 days. Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 10% administration fee.

Returning of GOODS are subject to the SPAZIO Lighting (Pty) Ltd "STANDARD TERMS and CONDITIONS of SALE" including any additional terms SPAZIO may specify in the GOODS RETURN APPROVAL (GRA). You accept on behalf of the DISTRIBUTOR that: No GOODS can be returned before the GOODS RETURN AUTHORISATION (GRA), is signed by a SPAZIO Authorised Representative.

SPAZIO may, at their sole discretion, charge for transport costs and may specify the conditions for returning GOODS to SPAZIO. GOODS must be returned in their ORIGINAL packaging with all relevant documents and the Warranty conditions must have been complied with. If SPAZIO establishes that returned GOODS were altered or specially manufactured or imported, the GOODS shall be returned at the DISTRIBUTOR'S cost.
