Internal Lighting Sales Consultant


We have a position available for an Internal Lighting Sales Consultant for an enthusiastic, driven, sales person, who  is good with people, enjoys a challenge and works well in team environment. This individual should have good selling skills be well spoken and have great negotiation skills, they must be flexible and a self starter.

Minimum Requirements:
South African citizen with an ID, residing in Johannesburg or Cape Town
Matric. (Preference will be given to a candidate with related tertiary education).
Min 2 years proved lighting and/or electrical sales experience
Highly computer literate and exceptional attention to detail and accuracy is necessary.

Additional Requirements:
SYSPRO experience is highly advantageous.
Goal orientated, delivery driven, ability to meet and exceed set Sales Targets.
Excellent time management, good judgement, proactive, quick to resolve issues and provide solutions, with a natural talent for sales and people.
Excellent sales and networking skills as well as presentation and communication skills.

Job Responsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales targets as set out by the Company monthly and annually, by effectively and timeously process a high volume of answering calls, emails, and client showroom visits, while establishing, developing and maintaining relationships with existing client base to optimise sales.
Research, source and develop prospective new clients to generate new business and optimise sales.
In showroom visits, facilitation and presentation of products to existing and prospective clients.
Develop clear and effective written quotations and proposals for current and prospective clients.
At all times ensure orders are processed and submitted accurately and efficiently by effective product knowledge, utilising and referring to price lists and product literature.
Effectively maintain strong, sustainable excellent customer service experience with clients, and cultivate a trust relationship with each one in order to maximise sales opportunities at all times.
Ensure that you stay motivated, enthusiastic and committed, as this improves sales and customer service.
Communicate and give feedback to the Sales Manager on important client feedback and market information.
Resolve client queries accurately, responsibly, confidently and timeously.
Follow up on orders, to ensure that client relationships are maintained at the appropriate professional standard to ensure repeat business.
Improve the overall profitability of the Company by reaching and exceeding sales targets monthly.
Wear the Company Uniform with pride.
Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Set a personal example for yourself and others in areas of personal character, organisational skills, commitment and work habits etc.
General duties and ad hoc tasks, projects and requests when required.

Salary:  Market related, Medical Aid contribution and Pension fund contribution.  (Remuneration will be negotiable based on experience and skills).
